Why do we gather together?

This is a very important question and there are lots of viewpoints regarding this subject. but we believe it is in essence quite simple.

We gather together as part of the outworking of our Christian faith, As believers in the Lord Jesus, we recognise that we have become a part of a family; God's family that is made up of many local expressions throughout the world, who are worshipping, breaking bread, sharing His Word together, and telling stories of God's Grace and activity in their lives.

Yes! we do this to Glorify God. but also to encourage and equip each other for the mandate that each one of us as believers carries, and that is to be disciple-makers. We are mindful as a local church that we have a responsibility to go. (see Matt 28:18-20) But we go with a purpose. We go equipped and encouraged by one another as the local family of believers knowing that Jesus said he would never leave us or forsake us.

At RCF we are beginning to see patterns and rhythms in the New Testament church that are helpful to us...

They gathered to pray and break bread. (often from house to house)
They gathered around the Word.
They gathered to encourage one another.
They gathered to share what they had.
They gathered to give, what they had received from God.
They gathered because they experienced God moving among them.

If you would like to join us in our journey and you live in the North Wales region, drop us a line, and meet with us for a coffee, we would love to chat.

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.
Hebrews 10:24-25
